1984 - present
Consulting
actuary with Milliman & Robertson, Inc. in Seattle, WA. Works
closely with clients: designing life and health insurance products; analyzing
general pricing and risk assessment issues; helping determine appropriate
underwriting requirements for achieving required mortality levels; and
quantifying the protective value of various underwriting tests/requirements.
In addition
to client work, a frequent speaker at Society of Actuaries seminars and
industry underwriting meetings, and a member of the planning and program
committees of the Second International Underwriting Congress.
1982-1984

President and Actuary, Great American Reserve, Dallas, TX. Project
manager responsible for design, pricing, and implementation functions
of all new products. Also responsible for negotiating reinsurance cover
